               “The friendly Seaside town”

                 Costa del Silencio is a very popular seaside town with a very strong English clientele located on the Southern coast of Tenerife. There are lots of English Pubs, Café’s, Tea rooms, Restaurants and even a good selection of English Hairdressers.

               The Properties here are mainly apartments and townhouses on complexes and are all walk able to the sea front. The prices are very competitive as well. Some of the popular properties in the area are named below. Property prices start at around €70,000 for a 1 bedroom apartment in the area. A two to three bedroom house in the area will cost between €250,000 to €350,000 depending on size, views general condition and if the property is detached or on a complex. The properties next to the sea always command a higher price and these properties are nearly always older as they were the first to be built.

              The nearby town of Las Galletas is a very popular, small and quaint seaside town. This has a much more Spanish theme and atmosphere than Costa del Silencio. There is a harbour where you will see various boats bobbing up and down out to the sea. There is a local fishing industry where the fishermen catch and sell their fish on the local market right next to the beach. This was once all that the area had in the 1960,s. Now there is the long promenade which has lots of café bars and restaurants. The town itself has a collection of shops, banks, diving schools where you can buy just about everything you would need. There are even 2 nearby golf courses as well and the area is very popular for deep sea diving. There is a shingle beach and also a sandy beach and the whole front is in constant upkeep and development. This is making properties in the area more sought after than ever.
