Properties in Playa La Arena.

Along the West Coast just a 5 to 10 minute drive from Playa San Juan there is the popular town called Playa de la Arena. The name Playade la Arena  translates to "Beach of Sand", which reflects that the resort as it does have one of the few natural beaches along the west coast of Tenerife, this beach has been awarded the internationally recognised Blue Flag for cleanliness, water quality and local amenities, every year since 1989. Running into one another and very close by are  the towns of Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes. It would take around 40 minutes to drive here from the airport in the south.

 When entering the town you first come to the popular complex of properties called Varadero on the left hand side of the road. There are apartments and houses on this complex. The area is clean and tidy and therefore popular for people wanting a sunny holiday as well as to purchase a property and to use for a holiday home. There is a very nice 4 star hotel called Hotel Playa de la Arena which is just a minute stroll back from the beach. This is a very nice part of Playa de la Arena which has a quiet and relaxing ambience. Properties in Playa de La Reina are very popular. Detached Villa’s in this area with private swimming pools would command a price in the region of €600,000 to €1,000.000. Most would have a great sea view as the area is elevated.

For a one bedroom property in Playa de la Arena there is the Jardin del Sol complex that is popular. You can buy a one bedroom apartment for under €100,000. The complex Tagara is popular and prices are slightly higher. For affordable properties with  2 to 3 bedrooms here, there are apartments and townhouses, you would expect to pay somewhere in the region of €250,000 and upwards for this type of property in Playa de La Reina.
