There is a wonderful selection of traditional tapas, Canarian, oriental and International cuisine to choose from. The shops along this stretch are brilliant too with many of them selling the best designer labels. Playa del Duque is geared up in such a way that visitors have all the facilities they would ever need and this includes shower and changing areas with the added bonus of umbrellas, sunshades along the golden beaches.
The sand on Playa del Duque is superb, looks glamorous and this stretch of beach is rated with a blue flag. The beach does get very busy with visitors from all over Europe and the Spanish mainland during the summer months to soak up the wonderful sunshine and enjoy the atmosphere of the place.
To locals, this area is known to be “THE place on the island” where people like to be seen and is considered one of the chicest parts of Tenerife.
