(We will even pick you up from the airport in business hours) We will take you to get your N.I.E number which is an identification number needed to buy a property in Tenerife. There is a small cost of approximately €10 for this. We will take you and introduce you to the local banks that we work with that you will need when buying a property. You will need this, not only for transferring funds when buying the property but also to pay your utility bills by direct debit. We will take you to furniture shops if you decide you wish to refurnish your new property. Some are in land and difficult to find.
When buying a property in Tenerife we recommend that you use a Solicitor. A Solicitor will be covered by public indemnity insurance and in the unlikely event that something was not correct, you would be compensated. We work with several solicitors and are happy to recommend one and take you to their offices.
Some clients feel that this is not necessary and in this case we are more than happy and able to help and arrange the transaction and completion at the Notary. If you find it difficult to come back to Tenerife for the completion we can set up a Power of Attorney (Poder in Spanish) and therefore sign on your behalf.
