Morfitt Properties Tenerife are pleased to offer this unique opportunity to get a wonderful piece of land in one of the Protected Natural Areas of the island of Tenerife. This plot of land of 33, 604 square meters is located on the southern side of the island at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level and within the Protected Park of Siete Lomas in the borough of Candelaria. The views over Valle de Guimar are spectacular. The large plot of land houses several buildings known as Bodegas de Chivisaya (Wine-Cellars of Chivisaya) consisting of the main building, the housekeeper quarters, stables and cistern. There are also two goat pens and an old winepress. All these buildings amount to a total of approximately 400 m² of floor area. From the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century, the main crop was vineyards and the house was built for the production of renowned wines, the wines of Chivisaya, which were even exported to the United Kingdom. The land, surrounded by a forest of cedar trees planted by the Government of the Island of Tenerife (Cabildo de Tenerife) in 1997, is divided into terraces where one can grow the island’s traditional crops, vineyards or fruit trees and keep goats, horses  and other cattle. The place is crossed by numerous trekking trails to different parts of the island and one can practice paragliding and mountain bike. The original winepress has been preserved intact, the press of which has the particularity to be made with a single huge pine log.
